STUDENTS

CCK Tax Interns are an important part of the CCK team. Interns are provided a supervisor who manages workload and instructs processes, as well as a coach who can answer day-to-day questions. Interns have the opportunity to work on client projects while collaborating with experienced tax professionals.

Tax Division Leader

The CCK Strategies Tax Division Leader is responsible for the overall performance of the Tax Division, which includes growing and developing the team; creating, communicating and implementing policies & procedures to create a platform for continued growth of staff and revenue; providing leadership to the division and quality control that ensures a high-level of service and timely completion of projects to both internal and external parties; and creating capacity within the division in order to meet the needs of both current and prospective clients.

Tax Team Leader

The CCK Strategies Tax Team Leader is responsible for leading one of the seven tax teams, tackling complex tax issues, identifying strategic tax planning and other consulting opportunities, and enjoys cultivating client relationships. The firm is interested in enterprising candidates who appreciate CCK’s approach and how we engage business owners in every stage of their business’s life cycle.

 Tax Team Leaders are responsible for consultive client communication, strategy contribution, approving returns with results oversight, workload management, coaching and developing Tax Project managers, Tax Seniors and Tax Analysts, detail review in high volume seasons. Tax Team Leaders work closely with the Tax Division Leader to deliver excellent client care, develop production targets, and provide information vital to decision making.

 Tax Team Leader: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, with a minimum three years of experience. CPA preferred.

Tax Project Manager

Our Team is actively recruiting Tax professionals who enjoy cultivating client relationships, tackling complex tax issues, and identifying strategic tax planning and other consulting opportunities. The firm is interested in enterprising candidates who appreciate CCK’s approach and how we work with business owners in every stage of their business’s life cycle.

Tax Analyst

A Tax Analyst’s responsibilities include tax return preparation, tax planning, financial analysis, and other client services. Tax Analysts work closely with experienced Tax Managers and Partners to deliver excellent client services. The firm is committed to investing time in a team of people and help each other achieve individual goals.

Tax Analyst: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or applicable degree, with 1-2 years of experience. Frisco or Tulsa location. CPA Candidate preferred.

Audit Senior

An Audit Senior candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, and skilled in reporting. Responsibilities include planning and performing operational and financial audits and support and training of staff members. An Audit Senior works alongside audit staff and ensures that financial statement audits, reviews, compilations and other attestation engagements are prepared in accordance with professional and firm standards on a timely basis. Audit Senior candidate will work closely and collaborate with experienced Audit division managers and leaders.

Audit Senior: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with 3-5 years Public Accounting experience, CPA preferred.

Internships

In this compensated program, tasks may vary based on client and project needs ranging from data input, tax research, to assisting in preparing tax returns. Tax internships are 8 to 10-week sessions. Work schedules are determined prior to start date, based on class schedule, usually ranging between 20-35 hours per week between 8AM-5PM, Monday- Friday. Currently, we offer two tax internships in the spring semester and one tax internship during the summer in our Tulsa office.

Internship qualifications: 3.25 GPA, completion of tax course.

Partner Executive Assistant

A CCK Strategies Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for handling a wide range of executive, support-related tasks and will be able to work independently   with   little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges           of supporting executive The EA must work successfully with other CCK team members in a fast paced, deadline-focused environment. Remaining proactive, resourceful, efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial functions in this role. Critical functions of this role include facilitating the follow through of business development deals and executing other unplanned assigned firm duties or tasks as necessary.

Among the responsibilities of an EA include:

  • Managing the Partner’s calendar, handling telephone calls and messages and overseeing daily details of the Partner’s internal and external meetings
  • Ensuring the completion of Partner’s daily tasks – emails, meetings, phone calls
  • Skillfully answering calls and communicating with clients and CCK teammates
  • Noting action points and taking meeting notes
  • Assisting with preparing for client meetings
  • Assisting with onboarding and setup of new clients
  • Assisting with marketing efforts and maintaining and growing relationships with third party referral sources

Executive Assistant Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support in a professional environment
  • In-depth understanding of MS Office suite
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills
